Have no special feelings as to maps but agree that talking politics is too depressing to even think of now. How in the hello did we sink this far????? The only bright spot is that it is a sure thing that a Dem will win and I think it will be a "berning issue" as no one trusts a word from the "Hills" mouth. But, then, we have same problems with congress not working with Obama. Just so so sad.
Rain rain go away, Agy and zoo want to play and how! Weather is helleous for sweet Lulah as she HATES getting wet feet so Santa is bringing two pair of boots! You can actually see her blout...thought she was gaining weight.
Great holidaz here as all are well and the Irish Crème flows...get no better.
Hope FABs are dancing with joy.
Lots 'o light to mantoe mom and do hope the big day finds her at home.
Hellooooooo! No home for Xmas for the mantoes' mama. At least that's the word now. But who knows Miracles R Us! what with the Fabs sendin' the light an all.
I'm puttin' tinsel on the tree. I'm so far behind, I've decided I'm early ...for next Xmas.
Layla's on top of the bookcase chattin' away. I have no idea what she wants. She doesn't come down for food or to go outside, she just sits chatting at me. Plaintively.
It's 72 degrees and climbing. I'm so confused.
A dragon in every lair ... to guard the gold of course,
"I have a dream" "I'm a lady of Spain" at Earnest Hemmingway's bullfights in the roaring 20's and doing a Zelda with castanets in the middle of a pond in Paris....Yahoo, it gets no better!
In a pond in Paris! That reminds me of Monty Python:
Dennis the Peasant: Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.
Arthur: Be quiet!
Dennis the Peasant: You can't expect to wield supreme power just 'cause some watery tart threw a sword at you!
Arthur: Shut up
Dennis the Peasant: I mean, if I went around saying I was an emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!
Arthur: [grabs Dennis] Shut up! Will you shut up?!
Dennis: Ah, now we see the violence inherent in the system!
Arthur: [shakes Dennis] Shut up!
Dennis: Oh! Come and see the violence inherent in the system! Help, help, I'm being repressed!
Well now, Deni, who could top that? But let us include a Flying Circus in holiday celebrations henceforth. Girl, you have the BEST MOST CREATIVE ideas!!
I want to extend warmest wishes for the big day, and the new year, to all you fabulous FABS. It is blessedly quiet up here on Cackleberry Tree Farm, JUST the way we like it. Ma Nature has delivered the best gift of all.....decent weather. No wind. No rain. No wretched snow (so far). The solstice has come and gone and the days are getting longer. Joy to the world, and to all of you.
Festivus for the rest of us! I love it. You are all so incredibly creative and smart- I am in awe!
Happy, happy, merry, merry to the Most Fabulous Fabs!! So good to know that all is well! Daisy and I are headed to Amy's in a bit for the celebration. Grateful for clear roads, although it's a bit chilly.
I am so happy to have my golden furball to share life and play and celebrate. She is an unending source of joy!!
I wish for a happy, healthy and peaceful New Year for everyone. ( a return of some sanity to the world wouldn't go unappreciated, as well)
