haha! I got my sewing table all set up this afternoon and piled with material to cover the roman shades on the deck/greenhouse. Layla immediately jumped up on the table, wrapped herself in the pile of material and wriggled around until she was completely covered. Cat in a cave! Then she promptly fell asleep. And I was gonna take a pic for the blog, but my phone was dead. Ahhhh great brains and beasts!

Debate tonight! I've got my fingers crossed they discuss climate change. There's been only one question asked on it and that was in the first debate. I don't understand why it isn't discussed more at the debates. Course the moderators ask the questions and perhaps they aren't concerned. But our candidates are totally for dealing with it front and center. So hopefully they will just bring it up themselves if it isn't addressed. As some else said "After all, it’s only the future of civilization at issue. Not something important like Hillary’s pantsuits or Bernie’s waist size." Ya know important stuff. Each of them have some very positive points and some I don't agree with. So what I'm watching for (and have been reading ad nauseum on), is what are their plans are and how are they going to accomplish them. Such a refreshing difference from the idiot R's!

Forward!

Deni,

Would love to see a pic of your roman shade. I've been thinking about making one for my bedroom window. It faces the street and sometimes the noises and lights disturb
Daisy and maybe we would sleep a little later if the window was covered. But making a shade has intimidated me.

I think the Repugs don't want to discuss issues because they have no answers at least none that anyone believes in and I think they know it. Sanders seems willing to talk about anything that is on people's minds; which is great. I don't think any President can fix problems alone, but we need someone who will acknowledge the issues. We can't pander to the "American exceptionalism" crowd any longer. Obama did
his best and probably never had a chance because of racism, very sad!!

Well it will be an interesting year, that is for sure. Two of my grandkids will vote this year and seem interested in the issues. We'll see how it goes.

Hope you are all well. Agy, hope the pute problems are resolved soon so we can hear your voice.

Stay strong, FABS!
